About the Role:
As a Shift account executive you will be part of a team that is transforming the way dealerships operate! Using a consultative approach you will be responsible for doing research on new prospective dealer partners, cultivating successful relationships through strategic sales pitches, onboarding of new accounts, and monitoring performance throughout the partnership with Shift throughout the sales cycle. This is a hybrid role of remote field work with the benefits of being based out of your own home office, candidates must live local to the Los Angeles, CA territory or be willing to relocate.
What You Will Do:
Leverage prospecting skills and relationships to build partnerships with Dealerships / auto groups in your region
Proactive mentality that understands the concept of laying groundwork for a successful sales pipeline
Build and enhance recognition of the Shift brand and products at a regional level
Track and record metrics while holding their partners accountable throughout sales process
Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets
Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge
Energetic, goal oriented and sales driven individual with the ability to go the extra mile to make sure our partners know they have a point of contact they can rely on
Team player who isn’t afraid to jump in to assist a colleague or help solve a problem
A trailblazer / quick learner that thrives in a startup environment and has the ability to adapt
What You Will Bring:
3 to 5 years of proven consultative sales experience, preferably in the technology or automotive industry
Account management experience not required but a plus
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience with demonstrated results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, google sheets/docs, Salesforce
