Supply Chain Optimization Analyst

Position Summary
The Supply Chain Optimization Analyst will report to the Network Optimization Manager. This role will be split between the three areas of the Support Center Supply Chain Planning team and have responsibilities across all three areas of Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, and Network Optimization. Key responsibilities will include data analysis projects working with internal and external data with a focus on scenario planning, assisting with forecasting of new business, and finding opportunities to maximize capacity, improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, or ensure service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Create demand and capacity scenarios analyses to help shape organization decisions.
- Analyzing organizational data and external date to seek out optimal internal network moves to reduce costs, gain efficiencies, or ensure service to customers.
- Work with operations, engineering, and other supply chain planning team members to determine true network production constraints and understand the costs of network changes.
- Assist the Network Optimization Manager with executing network moves and ensure the communication is shared with the right people in a timely manner to achieve project timelines.
- Vetting new business opportunity forecasts to assist in the Demand Planning process and validate incremental demand during the Stage Gate Process.
- Participate in S&OP process to stay aware of the business’s opportunities and risks.
- Assist Demand Planning and Capacity Planning as needed with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in in operations, supply chain, or related business discipline.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics and supply chain KPIs.
- Experience in demand forecasting or related supply chain planning preferred.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Excel based data analysis required and experience in Power BI preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of supply chain.
