Seasoner Trainer  - Fort Worth, TX

$20.79/hr

  Day Shift - 6:45am - 7pm

The Seasoner Trainer must possess strong organizational skills, leadership skills and the ability to interact with both management and co-workers. The Seasoner Trainer is expected to perform duties and responsibilities that any seasoner does in his/her role, job duties include, but are not limited to the set up and operation of industrial food equipment, following precise recipes and work procedures, monitoring and adjusting processing variables and performing product quality tests and data collection. 

The Seasoner Trainer at the same time will also be responsible to become the trainer/mentor for new Seasoners following a structure training/certification program. This position wil require the Seasoner Trainer to have flexible hours and/or schedule as the business requires it in order to guaranteed it’s continuation. The outcome will be to certify new Seasoners on all seasoner duties and responsibilities described above in order to comply with the Plant and Company’s expectations and become an asset to the Company.

What you bring to the table

  • Lead with “Safety First” Culture
  • Fully train and develop new and existing Seasoners within a defined amount of time or as the business requires it.
  • Train and mentor, all Seasoners on standard sanitation processes of seasoning equipment.
  • Teach and develop asset ownership among all new and current Seasoners for the equipment they run and care for every day. (CIL, simple PM activities)
  • Use multiple teaching techniques to ensure the intended Seasoners capture, learn and develop their skills and awareness of their job responsibilities to be successful.
  • Support the training and certification program of all Seasoners along with the Training & Qualification Supervisor.
  • Continue to update and adapt training materials according to the business needs.
  • Train new Seasoners on all technical skills as well as support systems such as MIP and Infinity.
  • Train new seasoners on the proper sanitation processes of all seasoning equipment. Including proper disassembly and reassemble of equipment.
  • Train Seasoners on Foreign and Metal detection processes.
  • Train Seasoners on lot consumption processes.
  • Manage training requirements for new and existing Seasoners.
  • Support the management of breaks and lunches based on the established plan by the Supervisor and/or Shift Coordinator.
  • Demonstrate technical and business expertise on systems/products/technologies they are responsible for and provide input and suggestions for process improvements as well as for procedure writing and revision.
  • Perform seasoning equipment operational tasks that include monitoring and documenting production and equipment performance, trouble-shooting operational problems, staging correct supplies at the seasoning deck, inspection of materials.
  • Complete, review, and in collaboration with Quality Assurance ensure written and electronic documentation is accurate and factual as required by policy, procedure and regulatory guidelines.
  • Hold quality and reliability as high standards of production service and clearly communicates these standards to others.
  • Physical Demands - The Seasoner Trainer is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The Seasoner Trainer must regularly lift and /or move up to 85+ pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 85+ pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Seasoner Trainer must be able to be on their feet for twelve (12+) hours, to keep up with a fast, repetitious pace and to do repetitious lifting.
