The Role

Sharebite is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR, you will have the opportunity to impact the bottom line and drive revenue through generating qualified sales opportunities in a team-focused environment. Success in this role means hitting and exceeding monthly sales goals, staying ahead of daily metrics, and handling rejection in stride, all with the full support of our team. This is a fully remote role, but we are only able to consider US-based applicants at this time.

What You’ll Do

This SDR  will play a critical role in Sharebite’s outbound driven sale process. The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Identifying prospective customers and conducting research to formulate effective messaging
  • Engaging prospects through strategic outreach sequences that incorporate email, calling, and social channels
  • Partnering with Growth Partners to schedule prospect meetings
  • Shadowing discovery calls to better familiarize yourself with buyer personas and the later stages of the sales process
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
  • Leveraging Salesforce.com to manage accounts, prospects, and opportunities
  • Staying up-to-date on market trends, competitive analyses, and industry developments
  • Collaborating with the sales team on improving our outbound strategy
  • Leveraging additional tools like Outreach, Zoominfo, and Sales Navigator to build your book of business

Required Skills & Experience

Anyone interested in working in sales at a high-growth, mission-driven company may apply, however this role is ideal for the following backgrounds:

  • At least 6 months in a transactional or SMB style SDR role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated experience effectively engaging with key stakeholders at top tier organizations
  • Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities 
  • Strong strategic problem solving and business acumen skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly goals
  • Familiarity with Salesforce – proficiency is a big plus

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Sales experience in retail, medical, hospitality, or other outside sales roles for at least 1 year
  • Experience in a client facing role in Marketing, Recruiting, Customer Success or other sales-adjacent roles for at least 1 year

At Sharebite, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry and market standards. The base compensation range for this role is $50k - $60k per year (OTE: $70k - $80k), however actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and location.

Salary is just one component of Sharebite's total compensation package, which includes equity, multiple health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits.
