The Facility Engineer position is necessary to ensure that all plant and facility equipment are maintained in a working condition. This includes all aspect of the facility, including but not limited to HVAC, power distribution, life safety, security, waste treatment, etc.
Duties and responsibilities
• Maintain One Line diagram & lead maintenance of all power distribution equipment utilizing EasyPower software. • Maintenance Metasys Energy Management Software (EMS) • Lead maintenance of all HVAC equipment • Lead maintenance of all Energy Center equipment (Chillers, Air Compressors, Pumps, etc.) • Implement planned, predictive, and preventive maintenance strategies • Implement procedures & continuous improvement processes to maintain standards • Lead the maintenance of two-way radio system & radios • Lead the maintenance of plant security system (keys & card readers) • Lead the maintenance of any other building equipment (Kitchen, plant lighting, emergency generators, etc. • Maintain plant layouts, building drawings, and other facility documentation utilizing AutoCad and other software. • Lead the maintenance of the fire system & wastewater treatment plant
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical 8-9 hour days, but longer hours may be necessary from time to time
Some travel will be required, up to 10%
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred • Rockwell PLC experience preferred • 0-3 10 years of experience in a similar position • Strong organizational and problem solving skills • Must be able to work independently and in a team • Experience with Microsoft Office, CAD programs (AutoCAD preferred), and a maintenance management system is preferred. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Degreed Engineers without work experience will be considered
