As a Buyer you will support the ePowertrain team by sourcing, comparing suppliers, evaluating quotes, negotiating prices, making recommendations and issuing purchase orders. You will also maintain and update purchasing records and manage inventory, and coordinate with ePowertrain team to ensure on time deliveries and provide feedback to suppliers on pricing and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Build supply chain and identify, analyze and recommend suppliers for e-Powertrain team
Partner with e-Powertrain team to understand purchasing needs
Manage vendors to ensure deliverables
Request, review, and analyze quotes from suppliers, and create analysis reports
Negotiate pricing, evaluate suppliers and issue PO
Maintain inventory and forecast future purchasing needs
Manage on time delivery
BS/BA degree in relevant fields (e.g., supply chain, business administration)
1 year of Buyer experience, preferably in automotive or battery industry
Strong ability to adapt to changes and solve unexpected problems
Ability to build relationship, multi-task and work independently and with both internal and external teams.
Good negotiation and communication skills
Strong organizational skills to manage and track deliveries
