Duties and Responsibilities • Lead hardware team from specification to design, prototyping and manufacturing following required functional safety standard. • Select and design circuit topology, components and circuit board. • Take part in the requirement development for AD component and system.
• Be responsible for hardware for sensing, computing, communication and control for autonomous driving. • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to develop mass production processes. • Build and manage a strong business relationship with suppliers. • Lead test plan development, issue resolution, and lab and in-vehicle testing of electronic systems.
Preferred Skills • 5+ years of automotive HW/PCB design, manufacturing and validation in automotive industry. • Experience in perception sensors and systems including vision, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic, GPS and IMU. • Experience in embedded hardware architecture including GPU, DSP and FPGA. • Good trouble-shooting skills with analysis and debugging ability on board bring up (boot-up). • Solid knowledge in High Speed Digital interfaces including Memory Bus I/F. (NAND, LPDDR, etc) • Camera interfaces. (parallel and serial, LVDS, etc) • Standard Peripheral interfaces. (UART, SPI, USIM, I2C, JTAG, HDMI, CAN, vehicle Ethernet, etc) • Hands on experience in working with Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, layout CAD tools such as PADS or similar tools. • Familiar with product development processes from design to production, including DFMEA.
Education Requirements • Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Preferred: Master's or Ph.D., Electrical Engineering or a related field.
