As a member of the Architecture & Control team, you will be responsible for developing the control algorithm for powertrain system to achieve required vehicle performance.
Duties and responsibilities
Define and specify the vehicle specification and architect the electric powertrain system
Develop the physical model including vehicle dynamic simulation model, electric powertrain system model
Lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams on specification, design trade-off and analysis
Develop control algorithm for thermal control, battery control, traction control system, electronic stability control, etc.
Implement simulation models into hardware/software-in-the-loop testing
Minimum travel requirement
Required Education and Experience
BS, MS or Ph.D. in CS, CE, EE or a related field.
Strong and good understanding of physical system including electrical, mechanical and thermal systems, power engineering, and vehicle dynamics.
Experience of electric powertrain development
Experience of vehicle dynamics, suspension tuning
Experience of hardware/software in the loop testing
Familiar with popular calibration tools in automotive industry, such CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, I2C, UDS, XCP, Vector Canalyzer, CANAPE
Knowledge and experience with UDS diagnostic services and functional diagnostics development for products, exposure to ISO26262, MISRA.
