This position is responsible for software functionality, tuning, and data logging of advanced prototype / R&D vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and manage vehicle software configurations on prototype vehicles, and conduct functional checks
Develop features to existing code base for prototype vehicle functionality (C, Python)
Bring-up prototype fleet vehicles
Decode, debug, log, and process CAN bus data, & provide test reports
Manage data logging activities during vehicle test and validation (lab, dyno, track)
Coordinate with cross-functional teams on component specifications/requirements, timing,
Capture requirements, document changes
Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be expected for this position
Experience with CAN bus systems and associated tools such as Vector, PCAN, Busmaster, etc.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Strong work ethic, highly motivated, and positive energy and attitude
Experience with high voltage and rotating machinery
Understanding of common low power / low voltage circuits
