Support the overall manufacturing process through the development and coordination of packaging standards and processes while meeting goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
1.Calculation of the packaging cycle to determine packaging processes
2.Communicate with management and user personnel to develop packaging standards and specifications.
3.Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
4.Gain consensus with customers, suppliers, vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status.
5.Coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, with cost control in mind.
6.Create and implement methods and procedures for disposition of damaged material and defective containers while assessing cost and responsibility.
7.Manage and monitor the condition of returnable packaging supply and transportation to promote production and quality of components and final product.
8.Maintain accurate inventory levels of returnable containers for all components.
9.Other responsibilities as necessary.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or other suitable discipline preferred.
2. Previous experience with project management, logistics, automotive manufacturing environment or similar.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong team work attitude.
4. Extensive experience with Word, Excel, and like programs preferred.
5. Detail and accuracy orientated performer.
