As a Bilingual Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our engineering and management team to facilitate communication between our team here at the Electric Vehicle Assembly Plant and designers, engineers, and other cross functional teams located in China and the US.
Duties and Responsibilities
Translate design elements from Chinese to English
Work in CAD to update and translate drawings and plans
Attend planning and design meetings to facilitate communication
Translate documents from Chinese to English and vice versa for analysis by all teams.
Work closely with our engineering team to assist in developing our lean manufacturing process’
Required Education and Experience
Currently working towards a BS, MS, or advanced degree in a relevant engineering program
Working knowledge of CAD
Experience with automotive environmental, reliability, and safety requirements a plus
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
