The Team & Role 

As the Director of Global Account Management at SevenRooms, you will lead and manage a team of Account Managers across multiple regions, driving the strategy and execution of our global account management efforts. You will be responsible for ensuring that our existing clients receive exceptional service, achieve their business goals, and maximize the value of their partnership with SevenRooms. This role is instrumental in scaling our account management function, optimizing team performance, and driving revenue growth through renewals, upsells, and expansion opportunities.

The SevenRooms SMB Sales team is on a mission to redefine and reshape the hospitality industry for restaurant operators around the globe. SevenRooms Account Managers are trusted advisors and expert relationship-builders, approaching every conversation with potential clients in a consultative manner to identify their existing business gaps and thinking outside the box to present the perfect solution. We are disrupting the current landscape by opening the door for hospitality operators to truly own their guest relationships, reducing dependency on 3rd party networks, and streamlining operations. What You’ll Do

  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement a global account management strategy to drive customer retention, revenue expansion, and overall client satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers across different regions, ensuring alignment with company goals and best practices.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue expansion through renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and expansion opportunities, ensuring targets and quotas are met or exceeded.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor to reinforce the value of SevenRooms.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and optimize account management processes, playbooks, and metrics to enhance efficiency, performance, and scalability across global markets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless communication, alignment on customer needs, and delivery of world-class service.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze trends, and provide insights to drive continuous improvements in customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Global Expansion Support: Support SevenRooms’ international growth strategy by tailoring account management approaches to different markets and customer segments.

Who You Are 

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing global teams.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth through renewals, upselling, and expansion within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing, globally distributed teams.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage executive-level clients.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to assess performance, identify trends, and drive strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to both internal teams and external clients.
  • Experience working in the hospitality or marketing technology sector is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt strategies to evolving business needs.
