Advanced Platform Development - Failure Analysis (Senior Scientist / Scientist)
Responsibilities

Conduct failure analysis for cell decay/safety failure (including cyclic aging, overcharge, and abuse failure) of different chemical systems of lithium metal batteries

Based on the failure analysis results, develop improvement strategies, develop innovative solutions, and realize the implementation of technology

Establish a sound failure analysis process, specification, and technical platform

Participate in projects, undertake safety improvement requirements, and support projects to achieve customers' battery safety testing objectives

Planned the development roadmap of battery safety technology, coordinated the internal resources of the company, and completed the technical pre-study
Qualifications

Doctor degree or above, major in materials, chemistry, electrochemistry or related

More than 3 years working experience in power battery failure analysis/mechanism research/reliability research etc.

Master basic knowledge of lithium battery materials, electrochemistry, as well as lithium battery design and process knowledge

Familiar with failure analysis process (lossy and nondestructive characterization methods), familiar with common material characterization, electrochemical testing, and battery disassembly methods. Proficient in using 5W2H, 8D and other failure analysis tools
