Overview of the Job

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee our financial planning, analysis, and accounting functions. This role is pivotal in driving the company's financial strategy, maintaining robust accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with C-suite executives on financial forecasting, strategic planning, and guiding the company through IPO processes while managing a dedicated accounting team to ensure operational excellence in financial reporting and compliance.

 

In this Role, You Will Get To:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis

    • Develop comprehensive financial models and perform benchmarking and process analysis.
    • Forecast quarterly and annual revenues, expenditures, and financial trends.
    • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management and C-suite executives.
    • Explore and evaluate investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions.
    • Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitive landscapes for strategic decision-making.
    • Guide the company through IPO processes and ensure compliance with listing requirements.
  • Accounting Leadership

    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP).
    • Supervise the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
    • Ensure timely submission of tax filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
    • Manage and mentor the accounting team to maintain high performance and operational efficiency.
    • Implement and maintain strong internal controls and processes for financial management.
  • Strategic Collaboration

    • Collaborate closely with C-suite executives on long-term financial planning and strategic initiatives.
    • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between financial planning and company goals.
    • Prepare and present detailed financial and accounting reports to senior management and C-suite executives.
  • Risk Management and Compliance

    • Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and corporate governance policies.

 

You’ll Be Successful If You Have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, accounting, and strategic finance.
  • Proven expertise in IPO processes and knowledge of stock market listing criteria.
  • Experience in the tech industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, accounting systems, and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to present complex financial and accounting information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional English communication and interpersonal skills.
