Overview of the job
The Business Development team handles a range of tasks in market research, competitive analysis, and market size estimation to support business development and commercialization. Research areas will include innovative applications of state-of-the-art AI and Machine Learning technology to address clients’ business challenges.
Our Mid level, Business Development Manager will be responsible for Market Validation due diligence, designing and implementing Go-To-Market strategies, Pipeline Management, and Commercialization of Sertis innovations and solutions. Our proposed solutions may range across many data domains, such as cloud migrations, data lake& warehouse development, business intelligence/insights, and advanced analytics & AI. You will also work in collaboration with Sertis’ teams, to ensure great communication and client success.
In this role, you will get to:
- Advise clients on how technology like data analytics or machine learning/ AI can help boost their business
- Participate in pre-sales with clients to understand client pain points, business processes, and key decisions in order to recommend relevant analytics & AI proposed solutions that meet client’s needs and have clear value to the business.
- Work collaboratively with data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and software engineers to deliver presale solutions that match with client’s requirements.
- Gain a deep understanding of our technology and product positioning and organizational vision
- Gather preliminary requirements in the presales stage, basic stakeholder analysis, and understanding commercial opportunity potential
- Participate in PoC or MVP implementation by guiding feature prioritization
- Support Consulting and Solution Delivery teams regarding solutions or proposal preparation
- Provide guidance to junior staff for tactics and strategies during the project presales stage
- Collaborate with clients and development team to define and implement innovative solutions after the project is signed off
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout project implementation
- Perform various types of project pricing schemes to meet client’s budgetary requirements
- Build and nurture client and partner relationships
You’ll be successful if you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related fields
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in consulting, technology, or relevant domains, working in software/data, big data/AI technology project presales
- Understanding business and context-related problems to identify and present solutions
- Ability to handle presale discussions in a client-facing environment; comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders, from executives to working-team
- High-level understanding of cloud deployment models
- Ability to take a leadership role when necessary, present to executives at a business level, convey customer requirements into concept designs, and map business requirements to system/technical design
- Advanced proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite, with an emphasis on word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs
- Basic knowledge of data systems and structure
