Why we need you: As the TPI Analytics Manager, we need you to be the gatekeeper of TPI analyses and visualizations that enable our advisory engagements and the unique insights only Sequoia can provide. To do this, we need you to partner closely with our Product, Operations, Security, Technology, and internal Business Intelligence teams. We need you to be obsessed with people data. We need you to be a creative self-starter that brings our Total People Investment data to life.
What you get to do:
Design and validate TPI concepts with end users and turn insights into useful and delightful UI and visual designs
Amplify productivity, quality, and innovation by building highly efficient and efficacious Power BI outputs for use in Total Rewards advisory engagements
Operationalize Snowflake dataflow process for use in Power BI
Operationalize client data ingestion process leveraging Power BI
Monitor data quality, identify issues, find solutions
Work closely with Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Quality Engineers, and various cross functional team members to design, build, test, and maintain analytic solutions
What You Bring:
3+ years in Data Scientist or Business Intelligence role
Power user of Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specification
Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories (Kimball data warehousing methodology), principles, and practices
Experience building containerized applications, data pipelines and deploying to public or private clouds, Microsoft Azure, or similar providers
Experience with BI development best practices such as agile methodologies, source code control, prototyping, and testing
Experience with People Analytics preferred.
