As a Lead Engineer – Frontend at Sequoia, you will be responsible for technically leading the overall Frontend PWA client architecture for all sequoia applications that run across channels (Android, IOS, Web) etc and build completely theme-able web applications that can be white boxed to our clients.

  • Be an Architect for your module and scale the application  
  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

  • Articulate the approach to all the relevant team members 
  • Implementation of security and data protection. 
  • Integration of data storage solutions. 


  • 8+ years of experience in design and implementation of Microservices. 
  • Strong hold in Algorithms and Problem solving
  • Hands on experience in coding languages like Go, Node.js and Java
  • Good understanding of server-side templating & CSS pre-processors 
  • Understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3. 
  • Understanding accessibility and security compliance. 
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system. 
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application. 
  • Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimising output to match the specific platform. 
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests. 
  • Innovative and able to reach and collaborate with other team members and functional teams
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
