Accordingly, our Global IT Leader will be the strategic thinker, but importantly, also the driven and highly effective operator who will own our overall IT strategy and execution. You will help the organization grow and scale by leading the team, managing operations, overseeing all IT initiatives and delivering key technology projects while aligning with business goals and objectives. You will have the opportunity to lead challenging projects and the deployment of various technologies while also ensuring excellent service to our Sequoia team members.  
 
What You Get to Do:
  • Provide strategic direction for IT landscape aligned to business needs of a growing, global company  
  • Be proactive when it comes to addressing IT and Security needs and develop processes, systems architecture and roadmap to help the company grow and scale  
  • Manage overall IT project delivery, budget and timelines  
  • Own the successful planning and service introduction of multiple projects with competing priorities as well as the ongoing smooth operation of the solutions  
  • Build strong collaboration and working relationships within Sequoia and externally  
  • Align resources and set clear roles and objectives for IT team  
  • Project management and reporting of status, risks and provide recommendations to address business needs  
  • Be hands-on with technology and act as a technical SME working directly with IT and Security on technology fixes, implementations of tech and IT operations  
  • Select, engage and manage vendors and 3rd party service providers  
  • Embed security into the development lifecycle  
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to build and manage SecDevOps in AWS  
  • Support compliance initiatives (GDPR, SOC 2)  
  • Manage asset inventory, hardware and software licensing and procurement  
  • Maintain and update documentation such as processes and procedures, operational manuals, diagrams, inventory, and knowledge articles  
  • Oversee and manage IT Support queue, monitor services, create metrics to measure IT service delivery and end user satisfaction as well IT ops such as incident management  

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required  
  • 15+ years of experience in IT with 3 of those managing IT Operations  
  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex technical projects  
  • Strong technical skills and experience with AD, Office 365, Okta, AWS and Azure  
  • Experience with networking such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and Wi-Fi/WAP  
  • Strong passion for customer service and user experience
