About the Role

The Talent Team at Sentry knows that the best product and business are built by the best team. We’re looking for our first ever Recruiting Coordinator to help our lean team build out the DNA of our growing company to well beyond 100 employees. You’ll be a champion of the candidate journey through to offer, ensuring an amazing experience for all. This role is also perfect for someone who wants to take on more strategic ownership on top of day-to-day coordinating. This position reports to the Head of Talent and will be instrumental in creating The Sentry Candidate Experience™ to help attract and hire the industry's top talent.

In this role you will:

  • Be the central point of contact for our candidates; coordinate, schedule, and manage high volume of interviews, as well as travel and accommodation arrangements (when the world is back to traveling again)
  • Partner with recruiters to ensure candidates have a streamlined and seamless interview process, and leave with the best impression of Sentry
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and candidates in a fast-paced hiring environment
  • Develop strong relationships and maintain effective communication channels with hiring managers, interviewers and recruiters
  • Collaborate with the team on special projects including (but not limited to) interviewer training, optimizing our overall hiring process,  sourcing for high priority roles, managing the employee referral program and our interview shadow program 
  • Use Greenhouse, our ATS, as the core source of candidate updates and documentation

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of recruiting coordination experience (bonus points for experience with engineering teams across time zones)
  • Ability to stay organized and effectively prioritize in a high volume environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Superb detail orientation and can handle all manner of written and verbal communication
  • Built personable and timely candidate or client experience in past roles
  • Experience with the following tools: ATS (we use Greenhouse), scheduling software (we use Interview Schedule), and travel/accommodation booking tools
