Senior Technical Product Manager 

sennder is a European digital freight forwarder looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Operations & Finance Team. The role is based out of the Berlin office and will report to our Director of Product. Do you want to help us shape the future of the logistics industry?

As a senior product manager you’ll work on interesting responsibilities like being part of building a new team which is focused on recreating our infrastructure to match our ambitious product vision

You’ll be collaborating closely with other product managers and our IT stakeholders to develop a strong product team dedicated to matching our IT-architecture to our innovative product vision as well as the resulting needs of our other teams.

In this role you will:

  • Build integration with the industry leading Transport Management Systems as well as our customers specific systems
  • Identify & test new business opportunities leveraging our technologies (instant bidding, for instance)
  • Build an Open API to allow our partners to build experiences on top of our technology (pricing, capacity, real-time tracking, etc.)
  • Tie strategic alliances with the largest digital players in the industry (SAP, Oracle, Transporeon, JDA, etc.)
  • Create with world-class partners like Uber, the new digital communication standards for the industry

 Preferably you are:

  • A fine user of the Agile methodology 
  • Able to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems
  • Providing a proven track record of shipping product features that deliver results
  • Passionate about sharing your knowledge and have mentored other product managers
  • Experienced using data and analytical abilities to help solve problems and make decisions
