A day in the life of our Demand Generation Manager

The Demand Generation Manager’s primary focus is to help drive, build out and run our lead generation efforts. This role will be responsible for building out repeatable lead generation programs and turning ideas into execution that leverage all channels while collaborating with other team members to maintain a cohesive brand message. 

You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, testing, experimenting, and optimizing campaigns. Your work will be critical in nurturing our leads, supporting the sales effort, educating our prospects and customers, informing partners and influencers, and retaining and growing our customer base. 

In this role, you will develop audience-targeted campaigns, and partner cross-functionally to successfully execute campaigns. You will conceive, launch, and manage a series of campaigns that span a variety of channels, including display, retargeting, email, direct mail, social, webinars, content syndication, and anything else you decide is worth testing. 

  • Manage integrated multi-channel campaigns end-to-end, collaborating with different teams through multiple partners and channels to generate high-quality leads
  • Help build, manage, and refine our target audience and ensure campaign strategy, content, messaging, channels, and targeting are aligned across the buying cycle and personas 
  • Vet and Identify new co-marketing partners and content requirements, then collaborate and work in partnership with the Content and Design teams, developing creative briefs and overseeing deliverables. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including marketing operations and Analytics to improve data quality, reporting, and segmentation.
  • Analyze and report results from all campaigns and make recommendations to continually improve metrics. Ability to adapt based on data and execute A/B testing.
  • Own the strategy, and campaign development, overseeing the execution of campaigns to create highly effective and targeted lead gen campaigns that drive new customer acquisition growth.
  • Partner with the Sales team to ensure quality demand delivery and follow-up and monitor lead flow, review opportunities, and optimize the impact of marketing activities. 
  • Measure, analyze, and report on all campaigns for effectiveness and ROI.
  • Keep a close watch on program performance, and develop projections and growth goals, consistently track & measure program performance/pacing to ensure programs are on track to meet goals
  • Compare and test new marketing channel opportunities for driving lead generation. 

You have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field - or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, with 1-2 years of demand generation experience
  • Highly accountable with the ability to handle multiple projects, and manage competing priorities and workflows without sacrificing detail orientations
  • Willingness to experiment. Comfortable trying new techniques or testing existing ones.
  • Strong project management and communications skills to effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, and drive alignment and execution across groups
  • Ability to roll out complex, data-driven marketing campaigns
