The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Account Executive counterparts within a designated territory. You will be expected to disrupt customers’ thinking and build consensus for Selligent Marketing Cloud to secure opportunities.
- Work closely with your sales counterpart (Account Executives) to create opportunities while learning the Selligent sale methodology and process.
- Develop and implement strategic territory plan to ensure the company exceeds its revenue objectives.
- Strategic Thinking- Systematically solves problems and hypothesizes possible pain points and implicit needs.
- Communication- Tailors communication to the customer’s needs with confidence as well as effectively communicate deal progress internally.
- Social Selling- Identifies the right customer stakeholders and builds connections quickly to drive consensus for deals; works cooperatively with internal team for deal success.
- Competitive- relentless drive to achieve results while supporting the team.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2-3 years of relative experience
- Desire to sell Enterprise SaaS solutions
