Currently, we are looking for a Middle/Senior Python Engineer for one of our clients - US-based startup building a job-board. It is the solution that simplifies the job search and allows users to apply for different positions within one click.
The ideal candidate is the one who is comfortable working independently, can scope larger scale projects, and takes them end to end.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement new features on our backend using FastAPI.
• Maintain and enhance our web scraping infrastructure using Python.
• Collaborate in the integration and training of Large Language Models (LLM) into our systems.
• Develop internal tools to support our business operations.
• Manage data synchronization between services and databases utilizing Change Data Capture (CDC) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
• Optimize database queries to improve system efficiency and performance.
Requirements:
• Solid experience with backend development in Python and FastAPI.
• Proficient with SQL databases, preferably Postgres.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Proven track record of working independently, scoping large scale projects, and delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Experience in web scraping is highly advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to work on various projects as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
