DESCRIPTION: Our DHS Sector has upcoming requirements for staff to provide IT program and business process improvement services for a large DHS component. The Program Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls the project/program to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled, quality standards are met, and associated expectations of performance are achieved. Key responsibilities include: Providing expert direction and guidance to subordinates, developing schedules, formulating work plans, managing and controlling project funds and resources, and serving as point of contact with DHS CORs/Task Monitors.

LABOR CATEGORY / DUTIES:
• Serve as a lead for delivery of Executive Communications, Correspondence, Action Planning and Task Control. • Develop and maintain the OIT Executive Dashboard, a professional executive level tool for OIT leadership that ensures organizational commitments and high priority initiatives are tracked and maintained on a weekly basis. • Coordinate executive-level responses to taskers (assignments), data requests, and queries from both internal and external queries. • Track all identified front office deliverables and actions that are assigned to or may have impact on OIT. • Support high priority initiatives by providing drafting, review, and editing of executive level documentation. • Develop status reports and assist with the preparation of executive level briefings. • Communicate, and mitigate potential risks that may impact schedule and deliverables. • Provide scribe services in support of executive meetings as needed (includes preparation and distribution of agendas, meeting minutes and action item lists). • Provide professional paper and electronic document, graphics and product support for briefings, documents, plans, and other communication needs. • Produce, track, and modify detailed organizational personnel charts which depict current, future, and notional layouts as directed by OIT front office personnel.
