DESCRIPTION: Sehlke Consulting is currently supporting USSOCOM in their DPAS implementation efforts and seeking a Warehouse Technician qualified against the requirements, and able to perform the duties, listed below.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Logistics or SCM, Accounting or Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management or Business Administration (can be substituted with 3 years’ experience in Logistics, Inventory, Supply or Warehouse operations/functions)
• 3 years of experience with DoD or other federal agency in Warehouse functions. • 3 years of experience working within any APSR or supply chain logistics system
LABOR CATEGORY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform required inspections and validations of warehouse inventory. • Perform warehouse material receiving functions to include documenting daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory levels. • Maintain an accountable record for material and retain inventory balances and document changes in balances. • Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages. • Perform physical inventories on material and compare results to the APSR. • Verify supporting documentation and data integrity and identify any need for reconciliation of inventory to the APSR. • Implement warehouse inventory process internal controls. • Analyze existing warehouse inventory internal controls and make change suggestions as required. • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels and adjustments. • Inventories items which may include the use of formal, informal, item-by-item, or group inventory methods and using manual or automated inventory systems. • Receive and stay up to date with any APSR required training.
