DESCRIPTION: Sehlke Consulting is currently seeking qualified candidates with Program Management and Navy – Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy-ERP) experience and knowledge of DoD Financial Management (FM) to work in the Newport, Rhode Island locale. Specific task areas the Program Manager would be responsible for managing include: Project Management Support, Financial Management Support, Business Process Assessments, Preparation of Presentation Materials, and Information Technology and Information Assurance.
EDUCATION: • Bachelor's degree required.
CERTIFICATION(s): • Knowledge of US Department of Defense (DOD) Extension to: Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide required. • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
LABOR CATEGORY / DUTIES: • Candidate will document project scope, project objectives and requirements, and overall funding profile. • Candidate will conduct analyses of forecasted budgets against project objectives and requirements, cost, schedule, and technical risks, and clearly defined, critical unfunded efforts. • Candidate will compile and summarize project cost documentation to include estimated direct labor costs, estimated direct non-labor costs. • Candidate will support services for the development and refinement of Departmental business processes, particularly in the area of financial practices for all projects. This includes the support of and participation in LEAN events and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other events involving department business processes and improvements.
REQUIREMENTS: • 10 Years of experience preferred.
