As the Regional Manager, Growth Sales, you will be an integral part of the Sales leadership team building the Sales organization. You will lead and grow a team of Growth Account Executives that focus on the acquisition and expansion of Segment across Growth accounts. You will join a team of highly motivated, energetic sales professionals that take pride in establishing new customer relationships, running strategic sales cycles and delivering the Segment message to a wide base of accounts across various industries. 
 
For the right person that can bring vision, purpose, and drive to our fastest growing market, this position offers the unique opportunity to have a dramatic impact on the success of Segment and be the driving force of our expansion in the enterprise.
 
This position will require candidates to be located in Denver, CO or New York, NY to align with team locations.

What you’ll do:

  • Help develop and execute strategy for massive growth of our Sales team
  • Recruit, develop, and enable a team of managers and account executives
  • Oversee and ensure successful execution of high volume and high velocity sales cycles
  • Engage at the executive level with a range of companies from venture backed high growth technology companies to Fortune 2000 accounts looking to modernize their marketing and analytics tech stacks
  • Motivate individuals and team to exceed targets through coaching and mentorship
  • Accurately forecast the business
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Cultivate sales through outbound pipeline generation and inbound need qualification

You’re a great fit if you…

  • Have 6+ years of increasing sales responsibility and 2+ years of sales leadership experience, selling to high growth accounts
  • Maintain a proven record of consistently exceeding quotas
  • Are strategic enough to build a team, but tactical enough to execute on a day-to-day basis
  • Are proficient in modern sales processes/methodologies
  • Can hire, train, and lead top-tier managers and Account Executives
  • Have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Are passionate about the marketing technology & data landscape
  • Have excellent presence and proven ability to influence at all levels
  • Possess strong analytical skill with deep understanding of forecasting & managing through data

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado.

Denver/Boulder Metro:

114,480.00- 171,720.00

Sales Commission: Additionally, this role is eligible to earn commissions and eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
