Segantii Capital Management is a global, multi-strategy investment management firm. The Firm was founded in Hong Kong in 2007 and has offices in Hong Kong, London, New York, and Dubai.
The Business Development team is responsible for recruitment & talent for the firm. As member of the team, you will work to drive and contribute to the growth of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Acquiring talent (both investment and non-investment) for the firm.
- Databasing introductions and interactions (meetings, calls) in the firm’s database.
- Helping with the overall search mandate, including designing of interview/hire plan and liaising on interview logistics.
- Sourcing and evaluating candidates vs. role requirements, and for prospective portfolio managers, assessing of their proposed investment strategies.
- Over time, developing business/strategy/offer proposal and driving the overall talent process.
Requirements:
- 1 - 5 years of experience in Financial Services (banks, hedge funds, private banks, credit risk teams, fund of funds or other hedge fund allocators) or financial recruitment
- Understanding of hedge fund investment strategies
- Attention to detail is imperative
- Strong English communication skills (verbal, written)
- Ability to code (Python) is a plus
