About the team
You will be joining our Global Alliance team reporting to the VP of WW Alliances. Our team works independently and as a cohesive unit to create the highest value for our customers, increased leverage for the sales organization, and strategic benefit for the company. Our team creates and drives partnerships with a diverse set of partners spanning technology partners, Cloud Service Providers, Global Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers, corporate rating services, cyber-insurance underwriters, and Telcos. Our ideal candidate will have a diverse skillset and a hunger to learn new technologies and business models.
What you will do
SecurityScorecard is looking for a Director, Global Technology Alliances with strong deal, strategy, and relationship management experience to accelerate our technology partner ecosystem. The objective is to work with selected technology partners as well as strategic consulting partners to extend our reach, revenues, and services delivery.
The candidate will have significant experience and passion for incubating, launching, and scaling top-tier technology and cloud partnerships. The successful candidate will work with alliances, technical, marketing & field level individuals across SecurityScorecard’s ecosystem and ensure alignment with their counterparts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong channel sales and GTM background and leadership skills that enable them to engage with partner sales teams as well as work with GSIs in a 3-way fashion to drive strong field level engagement between the technology partner, GSI and SecurityScorecard.
This position will lead the relationship from the contractual and operational perspective and identify and develop new areas of the partnership which are mutually beneficial for both organizations (e.g. Lead sharing, sales acceleration, customer satisfaction). You will develop an overall strategy and partner plan for each named partner and align this across the organization delivering monthly and quarterly progress towards strategic goals within the partner plan.
This is a critical role within the SecurityScorecard team and will require cross-functional leadership skills to work with our Sales, Support, Services, Product, and Engineering teams. This role will be a major change agent, having impact and influence with a high degree of energy, flexibility, and drive to create real and measurable business results.
- A minimum of 5-7 years working with strategic alliances in the IT industry preferably with security technology companies.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with B2B SAAS
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Master's degree a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated technical aptitude in cybersecurity
- High energy and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong presentation skills
- Previous success in an early-stage company growing a partner ecosystem hitting sales goals
- Extremely organized, effective oral & written communicator
