The Role
As Product Development Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of a product before it is launched. In charge of overseeing the product’s lifecycle – right from its inception and design, then to its after-sales service, marketing and branding, and support.
How you'll contribute
- Supports the President and CEO by ensuring the sustainable profitability of all SBF products through the following:
- Drives the development of brand strategies and action plans of all SBF products
- Works with Credit Policy and Finance through development and monitoring of program papers and campaigns to meet the product’s risk-adjusted contributed value targets
- Works with sales and marketing to develop channel acquisition mix and communications strategy
- Works with Credit Underwriting, Operations, I.T., Marketing, and CCG to develop the journeys of customers and relevant partners
- Works with Credit Risk, Financial Control, and Compliance to ensure the product adheres to all regulatory requirements and standards
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Economics / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / and other applicable courses
- 10+ years in product management or related field
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of product managers
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a product vision and strategy
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Credit Underwriting, Finance, Operations, I.T., Compliance, Sales, Marketing, and CCG and other support groups
- Familiarity with latest marketing trends and best practices
- Organizational skills, experience meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Result-driven attitude
- Proficient in MS Office Programs
- Good in people and stakeholder management
