The Role

As a BCM Risk Analyst, you will execute activity analysis, identify critical products and services, understand interdependencies to support Bank’s critical applications, and ensure that RTO, RPO, and MAOs are identified for each. You will also establish a review process and maintenance of various business continuity plans in reference to the Bank’s approved Business Continuity Management program to identify areas of improvement and resource optimization.

How you'll contribute

  • Execute activity analysis, business process analysis, and threat analysis based on quality standards and regulatory practices to provide an accurate assessment of business impact analysis results.
  • Establish a review process and maintenance of various business continuity plans in reference to the Bank’s approved Business Continuity Management program to identify areas of improvement and resource optimization.
  • Execute testing activities to be able to support Bank’s regulatory requirements in achieving the RTO identified by the regulatory body.
  • Project Planning and Organizing. Plan and Implement Business Continuity special projects to improve overall Business Continuity standards within the Bank.
  • Review and update BCM Policies and Procedures, and prepare BCM reports.
  • Prepare BRD and evaluate potential vendors as part of the ongoing BCM process improvements.
  • Crisis incident management- Trigger calls tree test activities and generates reports, monitors crisis activities, etc.
  • Support and facilitate testing of Crisis Management playbooks, to ensure the preparedness of the organization in any Crisis events that It may encounter.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in Banking, Leasing/Financing Institutions
  • Knowledge of various Business Continuity Management international standards and experience in set-up and implementation of Business Continuity; Business Process Management; Project Management, Information Management, Information Security, Risk Management and business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Good understanding of information technology and business processes to identify business process improvements, separate key issues, consider alternative or multiple solutions, and effectively makes recommendations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the successful delivery of business process analysis; risk assessment; business impact analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Able to facilitate meetings and interface and coordinate work with business functional areas and business partners.
  • Able to articulate issues, build consensus recommendations, and able to identify and define the next action/steps.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and regulators.
