The Role

As a Credit Cards Division Head, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategic direction of the credit card business and managing its operational requirements.

How you'll contribute

  • Build-up of the cardholder base by managing the existing card acquisition channel and implements improvements in areas of concern to further optimize business results.
  • Manage existing portfolio to include increase in billings and revolve rate as well as implementing the necessary adjustments on credit line to maximize profitability, retention and loyalty programs are developed and implemented efficiently.
  • Develop and launch of new card products as necessary to support business goals, including review of existing card features and fee structures, merchant partnerships are developed and promotional activities rolled out.
  • Service delivery standards and turn-around-time in all operations areas (cards operations, collections, fraud and system support) are achieved and complied with, service providers are regularly monitored and evaluated ensuring that service levels align with the company's.
  • Process improvement initiatives are in place for improved operational processes.
  • Provide timely and relevant feedback to management on relevant issues in order that timely resolution is achieved.
  • Represent the group in committee meetings.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Administration/Management, Economics, Marketing or related fields.
  • At least 10 years and up experience in retail banking particularly in implementing strategies on credit cards business and its operational requirements.
  • Must have strong knowledge in product management acquisition and usage, sales, business planning and service fulfillment.
  • Superb project management skills.
  • Excellent decision-making, operational management and critical thinking skills.
  • Has good people management exposure.
