The Role

As a Product Risk Manager, you will help develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) product for the Retail Bank, its subsidiaries and affiliates through policy creation and modifications, oversight of policy / procedures implementation, portfolio analysis, risk identification and assessment, as well as monitoring and controls of identified risks.  

How you'll contribute

  • Performs regular reviews, analysis and monitoring of the Retail Credit products portfolio of the bank, its subsidiaries and affiliates through report generation, data analysis and limits monitoring to ensure pro-active identification of emergent risks as well as existing risks and opportunities to ensure quality Risk Management.
  • Understand fundamental concepts of retail credit business through review of policies, guidelines and manuals and close coordination with business to be able to support growth of a profitable business supported by  appropriate and adequate risk management controls / capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively the overall performance and risk assessment of the Retail portfolio  based on portfolio data, market information and economic factors  to create awareness across management for proper business strategies and decision.
  • Continuously Review, Assess and Implement Credit Policies and Procedure to ensure implementation of Risk Management framework and compliance to regulations.
  • Establish proper planning of various tasks and responsibilities through time allocation, prioritization and calculated decision making to achieve optimal execution of job function.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Commerce, Economics, Finance or related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in risk management with focus in retail credit products such as msme, credit cards, auto loan and home loan from the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge in SAS, MS Access, MS Excel and R system.
  • Skilled in programming, report creation and project management.
  • Highly analytical with strong presentation skills to different stakeholders at all levels.
  • Has the ability and willingness to constantly improve and automate current processes.
