About the Role:

We are looking for a perception engineer to take the lead on a variety of computer vision projects involving object classification and pose estimation in a stationary environment using data from 2D and 3D cameras. Our existing solutions incorporate convolutional neural nets as well as traditional image processing, and we are looking for an experienced engineer to take the accuracy and reliability of our systems to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  • Design solutions to perception problems in novel applications
  • Work with software engineering teammates to create fast C++ implementations
  • Manage an image data pipeline and oversee the collection process
  • Assist junior team members and foster skill development

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Specialization in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or similar
  • 5-10+ years of experience in a software engineering role
  • 3+ years of experience directly developing machine vision applications

Where You’ll Work: 

Due to the nature of the job, we expect the majority of your working time to be spent in our office and R&D headquarters located in Allston, MA, close to MBTA Bus Routes, Boston Landing Commuter Rail Station, and the B Branch of the Green Line, and with free on-site parking.
