Seaport’s Communications team is adding a critical hands-on position to its staff. Reporting directly to the VP of Communications, the Manager of Communications will have high visibility within the organization and support activities including (but not limited to) the following:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the programs across Seaport’s pipeline
  • Support the Communications/Investor Relations cross-function work streams
  • Support company management on speaking opportunities, including drafting talking points and developing presentation development
  • Manage Seaport’s social media activity, including development of editorial calendar, content development, and execution
  • Manage content development for and updates to Seaport’s corporate website
  • Build and manage Seaport’s digital assets, including photos, video, infographics, etc.
  • Manage multimedia projects, including live podcast and video recording, editing, and production
  • Prepare, design and update presentation materials for investor and analyst meetings
  • Manage the investor relations calendar to include investor and analyst activities, including support with scheduling and follow-up
  • Manage special projects as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years’ experience in an agency or in-house setting with a focus on biotech/pharmaceutical sector is a must
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience developing and managing corporate digital and social media channels
  • Comfortable working directly with C-Suite members with little/no oversight
  • Solid track record of identifying communication opportunities and developing and leading external and internal communications with best-in-class communication practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a multi-faceted, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment
