Job Description:

  • Create acquisition strategy and pipeline aligned with overall business objectives. Create opportunities for platform growth by identifying new avenues for seller acquisitions
  • Manage a team of acquisition officers and guide them to hit the monthly acquisition targets.
  • Responsible for the end to end seller acquisition process. Main Key Process Indicator is acquiring the target high value sellers monthly
  • Conceptualize, execute and track new initiatives to acquire new sellers for Shopee
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and act as a liaison for new sellers
  • Create presentations and updates
  • Support new sellers with onboarding and incubation after acquisition
  • Provide market insights from seller’s perspective, including understanding products, sellers, market & competitor dynamics
  • Provide forecast on seller performance

Requirements: 

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree with excellent academic record
  • Minimum 1 year relevant work experience handling non physical items or in Business Development / Sales, otherwise, fresh graduates may still apply but they should have graduated with honors or have shown leadership skills in extra-curricular activities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented, creative problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Flexible to work long hours on occasion
