Job Description:

  • Manage ShopeePay’s price-related-marketing budget on a monthly basis
  • Allocate budget across different objectives based on business priorities, analyzing potential cost savings, business case justifications, and ROI analysis
  • Summarize key business activities relative to team’s spending and report to senior management, provide key insights from the previous month spending, and propose initiatives to improve spending efficiency on a monthly basis
  • Align with stakeholders company-wide to establish and communicate spending policy as parts of budget allocation exercise, able to enforce and monitor the success of the roll out
  • Conduct budget process improvement to derive the best workflows internally and across departments to ensure best productivity with minimal time spent on manual tasks
  • Manage Business Intelligence team to further come up with insights to drive growth internally and also optimizes spending
  • Work with stakeholders to build financial models / forecasting models for new initiatives and new business segments. Analyse P&L impact of the new initiatives and design different pricing structures to maximize the initiatives’ goals

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in budgeting & planning, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields
  • Able to analyse and synthesize quantitative data such as business KPIs and different types of budget numbers, and able to translate it into a meaningful business interpretation
  • Strong stakeholders management and communication skills
  • Outstanding structural thinking skills, with ability to manage the project in a methodical manner, and able to prioritize tasks
  • Strong leadership skills to enable proper workforce management, with analytical skills to provide back-up rationale
  • Fluent in English, Proficient in Excel
  • Strong technical skills (particularly in SQL)
