Job Description:

  • Acquires high-value merchants to join ShopeePay’s network
  • Plans/strategizes for and manages new initiatives to acquire new merchants for ShopeePay
  • Sources merchant leads to engage for business development pipeline
  • Consistently achieves all KPIs and targets
  • Generates and analyzes data as well as prepares updates and presentations for upper management
  • Manages relationships with merchants after acquisition including supporting the onboarding process for these sellers
  • Manage various internal and external stakeholders
  • Works closely with Account Management and Operations teams
  • Provides market insights from merchant’s perspective including understanding products, sellers, market, and competitor dynamics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree graduate. Background in Business Administration, Management or relevant fields is a plus
  • At least two (2) years of work experience in sales or acquisition
  • Emotionally intelligent and with good interpersonal and networking skills
  • Strong in communication, persuasion, and negotiation
  • Highly driven and self-propelling
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Able to work swiftly, pivot quickly with changes in direction, and meet all deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Displays ownership over one’s work, successes, and mistakes
  • Accountable and responsible for all deliverables
  • Honest, transparent, and has integrity in all aspects of work
  • Able to be creative operationally and strategically
