Job Description:

  • Build the compliance framework as required by the regulators
  • Be the regulatory liaison with regulatory authorities for the Business
  • Advisory contact for Business on compliance laws, rules and standards
  • Manages the localization of Compliance policies to Philippines regulatory requirements
  • Implementation of compliance programs for regulatory compliance, for example Outsourcing and Data Privacy
  • Administration of the company compliance programs
  • Develops and promotes regular compliance awareness programs through trainings
  • Communicate regulatory/ industry updates to Business
  • Compliance Reviews and Audit
  • Conducts regular reviews and report compliance findings

 

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years work experience as compliance officer in banking, financial institutions or any related industry
  • Must have experience in leadership position at an international financial services company such as a bank or similar companies, but be able to contribute independently
  • Specific Knowledge: Philippines banking laws, rules and regulations, policy development
  • Effective in communicating with senior management and Board of Directors, the business units and regulators
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, high level of organizational skills
  • Able to do problem solving functions
  • Dynamic and resilient
  • People management skills
