Who are we?

Sealed is a climate tech company with a mission to stop home energy waste and electrify all homes.

We provide software and solutions to contractors, enabling them to install more home weatherization and electrification projects, grow their business, and make it easier for homeowners to have more comfort with less energy waste.

Sealed's software, data, and analytics enable market leading products, including a one-stop shop rebate solution, investment grade energy savings predictions, and customer qualification and education tools.

Sealed also serves as an aggregator of projects for utility and government incentives, handling all rebate processing and payment on behalf of contractors, enabling contractors to participate in measured savings, Virtual Power Plant (VPP), and other programs with minimal additional costs or friction.

We are a venture backed and a remote-first company based in New York City. Learn more at sealed.com.

What will you do?

Sealed’s software and solutions help contractors sell more home energy retrofit projects at the kitchen table. Rebate programs, including the upcoming Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) home energy rebates, are a key driver of these energy efficiency and electrification projects.

These rebate programs can also create significant friction at point of sale, with contractors forced to spend an inordinate amount of time collecting data, modeling energy savings, and/or processing paperwork. Sealed reduces this friction by serving as a program aggregator, doing all of the rebate processing and payment on behalf of the contractor.

In order to further reduce friction, Sealed works collaboratively with programs to balance accountability of rebate funds with unnecessary processes that harm contractors and homeowners.

As a Program Development Manager, you will lead our efforts to provide utility and government program partners with the information they need to make the best program design decisions.

Specifically,  you will:

  • Work closely with program implementers to understand their goals and constraints and deliver solutions that address their priorities.
  • Draft program design materials, which may include program manuals, process diagrams, and template program agreements.
  • Create explanatory visuals to communicate how and why Sealed recommends specific program elements.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospective programs, and provide recommendations on how Sealed should prioritize support of new programs.
  • Support Sealed executives in preparation for meetings with program leadership.

Who Are You?

You love nothing more than diving into the details, making sure that every “t” is crossed and “i” is dotted, while also driving projects forward. You also love simplicity, and excel at making it easy for others to understand those details. You are great at communicating in both the written word and visual diagrams, and aren’t afraid of numbers.
