What You'll Do

Responsibilities include maintaining all equipment, systems and building components including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, furniture, paint, wall coverings, tile and other equipment.

Some of your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Install, inspect, diagnose and maintain HVAC, Refrigeration systems and components.
  • Repair or replace parts on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Install electrical components and wiring.
  • Recommend maintenance to improve system performance.
  • Assist with repairs and refresh all parts of the hotel as needed.
  • Install and replaces lighting fixtures and bulbs.
  • Clean machinery, carpets and rugs.
  • Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
  • Fabricate and repairs furniture and fixtures.
  • Attend all scheduled training classes and meetings.
  • Assist in delivering and setup of all new equipment such as televisions, mattresses, tables, chairs, etc.
  • Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor on projects as assigned.
  • Respond to all customer requests in a timely and personable manner.
  • Chiller Plant Maintenance
  • Other duties based on business needs.

What You Bring

  • 2+ Years previous experience as HVACR Technician is preferred or comparable maintenance experience in a luxury hotel or at an establishment such as apartment complex or office building.
  • Ability to be yourself, lead yourself, make it count!
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • HVAC-R certification required.
  • Chiller Plant Maintenace experience
  • BMS component Installation
  • Chiller Plant Certification
