Head of Finance

In order to maintain the continuity of Scoutbee's financial processes, we are seeking a Head of Finance who not only possesses pragmatic analytical and strategic skills but also demonstrates a hands-on operational approach. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to the C-suite team while leading the Controlling, FP&A, and Accounting teams, with a strong emphasis on team enablement and development.

How you will be contributing to our team

• Serve as the primary point of contact for our Investors and Fundraising initiatives, strategically influencing investors and conveying the organization's investment story.
• Ensure financial KPIs are in order and aligned with organizational objectives by monitoring progress through monthly performance reviews.
• Oversee our financial policies, project delivery, and strategies, enabling the delivery of strategic business insights through collaboration with internal and external business partners.
• Streamline finance processes, particularly in managing recurring SaaS revenue streams, to make them more efficient and purposeful.
• Demonstrate leadership by aligning with key stakeholders to build organizational continuity, driving both the team and the CEO towards achieving financial goals.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team through mentoring, coaching, and clear goal setting.

What you should bring 

• Minimum 8+ years of finance experience, preferably in a data-driven tech start-up environment, and/or some investment banking or management consulting experience, including 4+ years of leadership experience. 
• Advanced understanding of financial reporting, accounting and financial modeling.
• Partner mentality and relationship building skills with the ability to prioritize, negotiate, and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• We fail fast and learn faster - with a willingness to be agile and learn quickly
• You are comfortable and able to achieve our goals in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong leadership skills and experience building small teams to enable effective, profitable business growth and create value for shareholders
• Proficiency in the English language, knowledge of German would be a big plus
