In order to grow further our marketplace AutoScout24, we’re looking for a skillful and dedicated Lead iOS Engineer to become part of our Mobile team in Munich. Together with a team of innovative individuals, you are in charge of building new and innovative product features, following the theme "You build it, you run it!". You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and you have the desire to take ownership in an international, ambitious and fun environment - then come join us! 

What we need from you:

  • Build new and innovative product features in our iOS app as part of an agile development team
  • Continuously improve used tools / processes related to the day to day work (e.g. build pipeline, agile process)
  • Concept development and implementation of new, user-friendly and technically sophisticated features with state-of-the-art technologies
  • Writing tests to guarantee the stability and proper functioning of the app when it is in use
  • Collaborate with other great developers (from the Android world as well), product managers, designers and QA engineers
  • Work effectively in an agile environment, support the Engineering Manager and the team to continuously improve (keep an eye on relevant KPIs, offer suggestions based on these)
  • Coach team members by sharing knowledge – Work together with the Engineering Manager on development plans for team members
  • Drive self-responsible new topics over team boundaries (be the first responder for technical questions)
  • Proactive support PM & UX e.g. by showing possible technical opportunities like new OS features
  • Responsible for the architecture of the app

What we need you to bring:

  • University degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Profound experience building iOS applications in SWIFT / Objective C
  • Familiarity with the iOS SDKs and frameworks such as CoreData, AFNetworking, UIKit and Objective-C (plus a bit of SWIFT)
  • Experience with object-orientated programming
  • Deep knowledge of design and architectural patterns
  • Experience with unit and integration tests
  • Experience with 'CocoaPods'
  • Deep knowledge and Experience with Webservice (HTTP-Verbs, Status codes, Scaling, …)
