What we need from you:

The purpose of the Customer Marketing team is to drive product and marketing activities that grow revenue, ARPA and EBITDA with a focus on advertisers / paying customers.  The team is accountable for strategy development and execution across key marketing levers including product management, new product development, pricing and customer marketing communications.

Purpose of this role:

Reporting to the Product Scout24 Media, this position is responsible for achieving marketing objectives through product, place, pricing and promotional strategies with a particular focus on the delivery of new products for paying customers and, working with all cross functional Market Segment teams, delivering site enhancements and creating integrated user tools and sponsorship opportunities.

New Product Development

Oversee the development of new products (when assigned)

  • Conduct initial assessment of major new product ideas based on the changing Online advertising market with a focus on the German market specifically
  • Author product briefs and engage key stakeholders to ensure support and viability
  • Build business case including end to end business plan (including financial projections and on-going operational plans)
  • Develop clear roadmap for business and technical activities using SCRUM agile techniques

 Product management

  • Work collaboratively to develop and maintain the product strategy that delivers market leading nline advertising offerings
  • Work closely with Consumer Marketing teams, UX and other relevant virtualised teams across market segment to ensure our online advertising offerings deliver sustainable customer and consumer value
  • Input into the business planning and budgetary processes
  • Develop and maintain product performance reports and customer reporting dashboards
  • Ad hoc analysis (i.e. customer/user segmentation, comparative analysis)
  • Support Sales and trainers with product training and documentation
  • Assist the VP of Product & Operations with revenue forecasting and modelling
  • Assist the VP of Product & Operations and/or Head of Product to develop and manage the product roadmap to deliver key revenue targets that deliver the annual budget needs
  • Follow up and address key sales operation and customer issues.
  • Deliver on baseline and initiative product revenue, ARPA and EBITDA targets

 Contribute to Product Plans / Quarterly reviews

  • Assist the VP of Product & Operations and other stakeholders with the development of annual and 90-day Line of Business Plans
  • Track and report on progress on list of objectives and tasks

 Manage Internal Relationships 

  • Maintain a clear view of the prioritisation schedule and interdependencies for all product initiatives
  • Work with key stakeholders (particularly Sales, IT and Consumer but also other groups) to get agreement on priorities

What we need you to bring:

  • Technical Knowledge (Position Specific Skills and Experience)
  • 5+ years of Product Management / Marketing / Product Development experience or 5+ years’ experience in an industry specific sales driven roles
  • 2+ years of experience in managing online advertising products with a preference on sell/publisher side or experience on the buy/agency side in Display, Video and/or social marketing products
  • A clear understanding of the key trends and movement in the both the German and EU markets of programmatic advertising (PA) evolutions
  • A clear understanding of the key advertising formats, specification and evolutions in the German makret
  • Business marketing / Commerce or technical degree
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power-point and MS Access
  • Intermediate skills in Visio or other process applications
