This is a key role to make Scout24 a fully data-driven company. As a web tracking specialist, you will own our digital tracking at AutoScout24 and push it to the next level. You will be integrated in a highly dynamic and innovative data organization and be involved in working with cutting-edge technologies together with a big group of web and data analysts, engineers and developers.

This role is perfect for someone who has a clear vision of how a state-of-the-art tracking should look like and who wants to take the chance to bring these ideas to life. 

Responsibilities and goals you own:

  • Ownership: You are responsible for all digital tracking systems at AutoScout24 (Web, Android, iOS), i.e. implementing, maintaining and developing a top-notch tracking infrastructure
  • Governance: You define and set out rules and guidance on how the tracking should be implemented by the business segments and actively monitor it
  • Strategy: You think about the tracking in a wider perspective, considering the changing landscape (e.g. ITP, GDPR) and the growing need for high-quality and reliable data
  • Quality Assurance: You are responsible for the quality and consistency of our tracking – and monitor / fix it manually and through quality assurance tools  
  • Implementation: You support our frontend developers who are implementing tracking codes into our frontend systems and you ensure consistency across all devices
  • Innovation: You monitor industry trends for digital tracking outside of AS24 and update proactively the tracking to reflect the current industry standards.

Who will love this job:

  • You have a degree in the field of informatics, computer science or mathematics/statistics
  • You have relevant job experience in the field of web tracking, or similar; including experience with the conception of data layers and creation of tracking concepts
  • You know the relevant tools for digital analytics by heart: Google 360 ​​(mainly Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics), Firebase, HTML
  • You have a good understanding and can work with JavaScript Codes
  • You have written tracking specifications for web and app to ensure consistent data schemes across all platforms
  • You have knowledge in querying databases with SQL and/or BigQuery SQL
  • You have a clear vision of how a state-of-the-art tracking should look like
  • You are highly self-motivated and proactive
