Platform Engineering is responsible for the foundational aspects of Scout's technical infrastructure, including Employee Technology, Information Security, and Cloud & Data-Center compute platforms.
We are looking for a seasoned User Services Manager to support, guide, and inspire a team of user services engineers within the Platform Engineering organization and contribute to the development of the team's vision in alignment with our overall department vision.

- Provide technical guidance and establish user services best practices.
- Work closely with other teams to develop the long-term vision for Scout24’s Employee Tech model and translate it into an executable roadmap your team can deliver on.
- Help shape and influence the culture of our organization, as part of Scout24’s management team.
- Team-up with your recruitment colleagues to attract talent.
- Regular travel between offices within Germany required.
What we need you to bring:
- A passion for building, leading and nurturing successful user services teams.
- A toolkit to coach, mentor and guide your team.
- A clear and fluid communication style when articulating your ideas.
- A thrill for automation, self-service and building an awesome user experience.
- Enough understanding of Computer Science and Operations to be able to discuss technical decisions with your team.
- Experience working as an engineering manager, helpdesk/desktop manager or on a similar leadership position with a focus on the customer.
- Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ideally fluent German written and verbal communication skills.
