About the Role
Scorpion is looking for a Senior Manager of Sales Development to join our team!
As the Senior Manager of Sales Development, you will lead an outbound sales development team. You will be an integral part of the Sales Development team and continuously mentor our SDRs. You will also work closely with other leaders in sales, marketing, sales operations, marketing operations, and sales enablement to drive the strategy for the sales development team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Sales Development Representative (SDR) roles and significant experience leading and managing SDR teams
What your success will look like
- Lead, coach, and mentor the SDR team to ensure their continuous growth and development.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to maximize the performance of the SDR teams, establishing and monitoring KPIs.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align strategies with company objectives and optimize lead generation and qualification processes.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the SDR teams to promote a results-driven and motivated work environment.
- Prepare and present regular reports on performance, pipeline metrics, and forecasts.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline and revenue targets.
- Provide insightful feedback from prospect conversations to product, sales, and marketing leadership.
Who you are and what you bring

Experience:
- 6+ years in Sales Development Representative roles within the digital marketing or technology industry
- 3+ years managing and leading inbound and outbound SDR teams

Skills:
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, focusing on lead generation and qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Proven history of exceeding quotas

Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Salesforce, ChiliPiper, CallRail, Outreach, and Drift
- Experience in home services or legal sectors

Compensation
We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
- The base salary is $100,000 (entry-level) - 120,000 (highly experienced). This position's base salary + annual variable is $145,000 (entry-level) - $175,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
