ScienceLogic is looking for a proven Senior Account Executive with at least eight years of selling Software. Specific experience of IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Service Management (ITSM) or DevOps will be a huge advantage in this exciting role.

 

We are looking for someone with intelligence and character who can add something of their own personality to drive sales in our established A/NZ business. You will be able to exercise your own creativity and be given both the freedom to express your sales ambition along with world class support from our tech and leadership teams.

 

You’ll have a great network of contacts & relationships within the GSI/MSP’s community and/or the enterprise marketplace and have a good grasp of their business models & challenges.

What you’ll be doing…

 

You will own the NSW (New South Wales) territory & be responsible for developing new software & services revenues. Your primary focus will be to sell into MSP’s, GSI’s & Enterprises and help them understand how ScienceLogic AIOps and Observability solutions can deliver IT and business value. No two days will be the same, here’s a peek into some of the dimensions of the role:

 

  • Driving deals: - Own & drive revenue growth from existing customers and new prospects from an assigned list of target accounts across the territory. Your goal? Meet or exceed your sales quota.
  • Prospecting: - Leverage your contact base to identify quick win opportunities. Create & execute your own prospecting plan with your marketing, BDR & sales team to produce an opportunity pipeline. Prioritise, research, target & organise new prospecting campaigns within territory. Use social media & digital engagement tools to become a leading “digital prospector”.
  • Knowing your customer: - Much of your time will be spent meeting with customers & prospects, mostly today in person and via Teams conversations around industry. You will be a great listener, truly understanding what your customer cares about is central to how we sell story of the ScienceLogic journey.
  • Being creative: - Innovation is important in this role. You will guide customers and work out how we can solve the problems that matter most to them. You will translate what this means for them in terms of cost savings, revenue protection / growth or enhanced customer experience.
  • Customer journey: - Work as part of a team in a state of “high collaboration” that helps the customer understand the full potential ScienceLogic solutions & services in his journey to value realisation.

 

Qualities you possess…

 

You’re a dynamic self-starter with good energy and great communication skills. We are looking for ambition and determination in a role that is both demanding and exhilarating. Our team is diverse and typically have the following characteristics and qualities:

 

  • 8 years sales experience.
  • Hustle - Proven track record of success building sales pipelines and closing business.
  • Self-Reliance: - Be able to think & operate independently, set personal objectives and manage own time to achieve them. Have a strong personal presence and mature & confident presentation skills.
  • Able to lead & guide – You will have experience of leading and guiding different team players effectively to align around your sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Learning mindset: - Have a positive mindset that is driven to continuous learning / improvement and be responsible for understanding ScienceLogic’s solution, business value offerings and competitive landscape. Receptive to experiential coaching & professional training.

 

Not requirements but certainly pluses for consideration to the Account Executive Role

  • Monitoring software sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of Hybrid IT concepts.
  • Proficient in Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.com.
