 At Science 37 we thrive on innovation and agility. We are seeking a razor-sharp IT Business Systems Administrator eager to make an impact within a mission-driven organization. The IT Business Systems Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining critical enterprise solutions such as NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Project Management System. This role is also a member of the IT Team and would also be responsible for cross-functional projects and initiatives, systems administration, trial support, and desktop support. The position oversees and ensures that the business systems used throughout are current, compliant and continues to serve its user base, namely accounting/finance, growth team, commercial team, clinical solutions, medical affairs and clinical operations. The position also performs business analysis and assists with finding solutions for the functional departments.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities  

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Configures, administers, upgrades and maintains the company’s ERP (Netsuite)
  • Project management for business system implementations, including but not limited to new ERP modules, CRM, and Time/Task Tracking system
  • Works closely with Finance/Accounting team to maintain accounting and ERP data
  • Works with project managers and operational leads to ensure project plans are successfully submitted and executed
  • Actively manages solution providers (vendors)
  • Stay updated on the latest technological advances in the fields represented by current projects
  • Assists in strategic recommendations on future projects, and operational solutions
  • Builds custom reporting and dashboards
  • Provides technical and process improvement support, mentorship, and education to other members of the company
  • Participate in company’s Vendor and System Assessment (VSA), system audits, and computer system validation/qualification processes
  • Participate in providing IT services and products in support of clinical studies
  • General IT support of company operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technology field
  • 1-5 years of experience with NetSuite ERP System required 
  • 1-5 years of experience with Salesforce CRM System preferred
  • 1-5 years of experience in general IT (Network/Systems Administration and Desktop Support)
  • 1-5 years of experience with Project Management System preferred
  • 1-5 years of experience with Atlassian’s JIRA/Service Desk/Confluence preferred
  • At least 1 year of related industry experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare preferred
  • Exhibits excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Exhibits excellent documentation skills (e.g., project plans, standard operating procedures, training guide, etc.)
  • Strong technical knowledge in: cloud-based software and services, cyber and network security; G Suite Applications; Wi-Fi technologies; and Apple devices
  • Proven strong technical troubleshooting skills and resourcefulness
  • High level of effective written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of delivering results and meeting targets
  • Expertise in creating, driving, and executing solutions by defining all elements from strategy to implementation

Position reports to the Director of Information Technology who will also assign projects, provide general direction and guidance. Incumbent is expected to perform duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
