Schweiger Dermatology Group, a leader in the field of dermatology practice with multiple locations throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania is searching for an experienced Medical Aesthetician to join our office in Stony Brook, NY. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a dermatology practice.

Medical Aesthetician

Performing consultations and educating patients on options for skincare treatments
Developing individualized skincare treatment plans.
Extensive phone and in-person communication with patients.
Document all patient encounters according to practice guidelines.
Contact patients by phone and e-mail to follow-up after treatment, provide information on promotional specials/new treatments, etc.
Provide caring guidance to all patients.
Recognize patient needs and customize individual care.
Working knowledge and application of HIPAA & OSHA compliance

Qualifications:

Experience with aesthetic skincare procedures (Coolscultping, chemical peels, microneedling. Dermaplaning, lasers, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills over the phone, in written communication, and in-person.
Able to prioritize tasks with attention to detail and able to manage various job duties simultaneously.
Have a warm, inviting personality during the entire patient experience.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
